Redwood Incubator - Leahy Favorite ARTICLE with Pic

Pics
Based on the pictures I would say that is a Sears Farm Master 1200 egg incubator. I personally don't believe the Farm Masters were built by Leahy. All Leahys I have seen have the heat element and water pan at the bottom with the fan at the top front blowing toward the rear. The Farm Master has the heat and water pan at the top with the fan blowing forward across the heating elements and the water pan. Hard for me to believe that the same manufacturer would use two such radically different designs. Trays, turners, thermostat setups are all different too.
That's just my opinion and I'm open to being convinced otherwise.
I have a copy of the Farm Master instructions on file. Anyone needing/wanting a copy PM me your email address and I'll get it on its way.

Im not sure what brand it is either but here are some pics of egg trays and manual turner if that helps anyone recocnize it . If you can tell by the pic the turner works by simply pulling slide handle on front to roll the eggs

When I was growing up, my parents had a bunch of buildings on our property. One of them had 2 giant incubators. I believe that they were 500 and 750 egg incubators and all redwood. I don't know what brand that they were, but they had very fine workmanship.

ok thks i will try to get some pics on here later tonite. have you hatched with one of these yet?
What you have is the 2100 egg farm master.Sold by sears and made by a company in the midwest, not leahey.Your redwood sold for $ 146.00 in the 1951 sears catalog.Im just finnishing a restoration on a 1200 egg 8 tray model. Also have a 400 egg model that i plan to use as a hatcher this season.
Thanks again dbcooper for the instructions, they came in handy during the rebuild
