How did that happen!?

Two momma hensa didnt get along. Im guessing the ducklings surrogate mom maybe got the chick belonging to the other mom, the other mom got agitated and went after a duckling that got to close. Needless to say, we will never be housing two momma hens together again.

Ha!! Cracked me up.....my seester and I use this term, her husband is a Spaniard.

Got 4 Leghorn and 4 Ideal 236 from Ideal Hatchery. Seesters, who knows? Similar breeding lines, most assuredly. Hard to tell the difference between the two lines. I'm not sure I know which ones are which.

Down to 5 from the 8 starters after 2.5 years.
