Lol. Tad has the bigger personality for sure. She is is also sturdier (no need to fear a tail drop) and awake during the day so she is the one we interact with more. We can also let her free range a bit or take her outside, unlike Hoshi. But of course she is also much higher maintenance. He sounds amazing!! And they have some really nice geckos there!
And Tad is hilarious
Just curious which one do you prefer? I know it’s probably like picking a favorite kid but if you can![]()
Tad is in a basic 40 gallon terrarium (18 x 18x 36) with a screen top. Hoping to finally get her into a bigger custom tank this year though. Also what do you keep them in, Bones? I really wanna get one of those Zen Habitat things eventually but they’re so expensive hahah
They both sound amazing!! I feel like I’ve seen a lot of beardies out adventuring or whatever and that seems fun! But then Leos are so cute with their smiles hahah but I’m guessing they can’t really come out? And curious what you mean by higher maintenance. Like that they need all the lights and stuff or more than that?Lol. Tad has the bigger personality for sure. Hoshi is prettier, (but don’t tell either of them I said that) softer, and just generally adorable. You have to watch him like a hawk though so he doesn’t sneak off somewhere you cannot reach him. He also has a special place in my heart because my husband bought him for me to help cheer me up after we lost our flock of chickens.
Oh gosh! He’s such an escape artistTad is in a basic 40 gallon terrarium (18 x 18x 36) with a screen top. Hoping to finally get her into a bigger custom tank this year though.
Hoshi is in a fancier front opening exoterra tank (12x18x36). He used to be in a basic 20 gallon long with a top opening screen but he figured out how to get out of it. So now he has doors that lock![]()
