Well you are definitely succeeding!!! I want to boop all their snoots!
Thank you so much! I love my babies. I've been waiting for the BEL baby for 20 years 😁
Yes I could have just bought one, but when I first got into genetics 20 years ago mojave was a new gene and the super form cost about a quarter of me house. I wanted to make my own.
I'm really proud of the babies we've made here. We have a double het albino and tsk axanthic clutch in the incubator. We're trying to make some snow babies.

That’s amazing!!!

Saw one too. We have a ton that hide by day in the sandy soil under the pool.

Yes, I thought it might be MBD so I've been giving him calcium dusted crickets and I put it on his lettuce. Isn't that supposed to help?
It will help, but calcium with vitamin D3 and a good uvb bulb will only keep it from getting worse. To my knowledge MBD is not reversible. If he starts to get sores on that leg you may need to rig a splint or pad for him.

I'm planning on getting a bioactive terrarium for him so he can has lots of things to do and I can get him off that wood. I also want to get him a good substrate he can safely burrow in and plenty of cork bark that he can climb on!

Here are some pics that I took for comparison. The Indian star tortoise before and after with a three-year difference, and the leopard tortoise with a one year difference.
