So far, I have found that it does. All you have to do is moisten it.

Do you know if you have to moisten all types of moss? My husband bought some for his ball-pythons but didn't understand how it worked because it was dry.

I’m not sure. I’d assume so. It should say on the back of the package if he still has it.

I am obsessed with reptiles... I have yet to buy any though, my family doesn't want any more pets. I really love chameleons, and I might buy one next year. My favorite reptile is uroplatus, which is a genus of geckos from madagascar

40 crickets will only feed my gecko for a week, apparently. Wow. My gecko doesn’t seem to like mealworms all that much. Sooo crickets it is?
