I'm going to buy some sort of new pet for my birthday. Either a lizard, hedgehog, or quail. I haven't decided yet. The quail would be more beneficial to my family.

That’s awesome!! I say hedgehog or lizard!

You deserve to treat yourself, don’t worry about if it’s beneficial or not lol

You can always get something cool and fun now and add the quail later.

Yeah this is why I've never been to our local reptile show! There are too many cornsnake morphs that I'd just love to have and I know myself well enough to know that if I went to a show, I'd be coming home with more snakes than I really have room for .

I’d probably do the same thing!! And have! Really have no room for 3 betta tanks but I found room

He really dislikes snakes. A copperhead tried to bite him last month.

It was going towards the coop, but he was walking out in the dark and the snake wasn't happy.

@FortCluck I feed my cornsnake f/t small adult mice, 1-2 mice every 1-2 weeks depending on the season and his activity level. He's not big enough for anything more substantial than that!

I got a snake and they fed it live mice and the mouse literally killed my snake! I was so mad! I'll never feed live again if I ever got another snake.
