I know exactly how you feel, i just lost one of mine to an unknown predator today. Your tribute to your rooster was very lovely to read, it was truly touching. He was a beautiful bird.

I remember seeing pics of him here before. What a great bird! At least he was loved and had a good life with you. Much better than many birds get. I tell myself this everytime I lose one. Then I go out and give another one a great life and love.
