Ribh's D'Coopage

It is. If I drank gin, or drank in general I might have had a go at it.
Makes for great Christmas or other gifts if you give those - just because it is a heart-stoppingly beautiful color. I don't really drink much either but I love the look of it on my shelf.

And Pippin and Bobby  ....

These ones actually can't sting. They don't have a stinger. They aren't defenseless though, Nancy. The European Honey bee is their natural enemy & they are rather vicious. They bite the legs off the honeybee & that's it for the honeys!
We have a new invasive hornet here in the states... they call them murder hornets! They are huge! They will go into the honeybee hive and decapitate the honeys :(.... I’m scared to think of what could happen if they get out of control... they are from Asia...

I have a sucker. He likes to suck on my clothing & knead. If let rip I have really wet patches ~ especially up round my collar, which I hate. He is not allowed but he always tries! 🙄

I’d take a sucker any day, much less destructive. My Frizzle breeder friend used to be a wildlife career and was looking after two baby kangaroos, who would suck on a bit of sheet sticking out that covered the couch, and sigh contentedly. It was very cute.

They sound scary.

I wonder how the Asian honeybees deal with them?
