Well, my girls will be out of sorts. It was a mainland day yesterday, so no run time, & it is wet & dreary this morning. They won't be best pleased.

Poor babies.

Good morning Jeannie Another long day at work... As for mulch, we have to move it to the gator, then get it as close as we can to the garden and then move it with 5 gallon buckets to its final resting place. Here's progress so far, oh and tossing in a sunset before a major storm just for fun.

That looks great. Nice work. I'm sure it will be worth it in the end. The sunset was beautiful.

I have a sucker. He likes to suck on my clothing & knead. If let rip I have really wet patches ~ especially up round my collar, which I hate. He is not allowed but he always tries!

I have never had one of those. That's a different behavior. I wonder what is behind that.

I have a sucker too. I have weaned him onto fleece - so he now has little fleece blankets all over the house that he can suck on to spare my hair and my clothes.

The vet told me he was probably taken from his mother before he was properly weaned so it is a suckling comfort sort of thing.
He is a rescue cat and was in terrible shape when I took him in. So of course I am a big softy and get him fleece blankets because even though he is now a big sleek happy guy, I hate that he misses his mother! My current theory is that he just knows how to make me spoil him.

No it is actually adorable. He sucks the blanket and kneads and purrs. He dreams of being a kitten.
