We've had over 100mm of rain in the past 24 hours ~ heavy, torrential, thundering rain. The girls pen is a soaked slimy mess. The run is ok ~ but they can't be in it. The sand box is ok but that is 14 girls huddled in an 8X8' space ~ which is obviously not enough space for 14 girls, though not everyone has bothered to get up yet. They got about a 15 minute run yesterday ~ the only sort of break we got in the weather. I can't get out to them this morning to check on them. Visibility is close to zero & the rain is pelting. Haven't seen rain like this in a long, long time & we have another 24 hours of it yet.

We should get this in summer ~ which is our rainy season. We never get winter rain like this.

We had one of those days last year. The girls got under the eaves of the house and didn’t move.
