I would definitely get Sussex’s and more barred rocks but mums not a fan of the favorelles *sigh* but she is mum

How come mum doesn't like the Favorelles? They are some of my calmest & friendliest. The Rocks & Sussex are good choices though.

Oh. Ok. Mine don't have the beards & very little feathering on their legs ~ but not sure what they got crossed with or how well they will lay. @ present they re pretty much still freeloading.

Yeah. I'm trying to unwind. My man is trying to get a web site up & & happening ~ & neither of us knows what we're doing. My stress levels went through the roof 'cause I kept getting left with it & I didn't do the first bit so was more clueless than usual.

Find a teenager! Apparently, they now teach coding in schools (and here I thought typing and spreadsheets were awful). They usually can’t explain what they are doing, but they are also great for fixing your phone and such.

Glad everyone is doing well! I’ve been trying to keep up but been super busy since last weekend... we have shearing coming up on the 31st so there’s lots to do. I don’t know what you have available down your way, but I quite enjoy my Marans girls, an Mr is my best Rooster by far. I can’t recommend Barnvelders for attitude towards humans, mine are very no-touchy. I too have heard nothing but good on Orpingtons, @Butterscotchbitesfinger I look forward to seeing what you get! (I just finally read your handle correctly, I kept seeing butterscotch bright feather for some reason... you’re going to have to share that story sometime!)
