You know I have a large Children's Collection of my own. Many children's authors write better than adult authors so no judgements here.

There's a whole section of academia who believe it is a comedy. I haven't read up but I've never been able to take it seriously. It is just so teen melodrama ~ & who but a teen would think a fake death was a good idea? Or so over~react?

Remember Neighbours on the telly? I preferred to consider it a comedy it so very not how aussie neighbours are!

One of my besties did her honours thesis on childrens books!

I did my final paper on Mary Grant Bruce's The Billabong Books It was part of my unit on Australian Literature. My choice as being far less self conscious than most of the adult literature.

I own both of those and many more grant I teach little people, but I have shelves full of children's books and very few "adult books".
