Ribh's D'Coopage

A broody Wrold is fluffing up so much she almost looks the size of a standard hen. 🙄
I am not her favourite person just now.

Have you got a new camera, or new glasses.
You're taking so excellent pictures recently.

Including that crazy human who brought more to share the same boxes eventually. What is she thinking! 😉
Tis for a season only. Surely they won't carry on like this over winter.

Lock. While her legs aren't going to win any catwalk prizes they are much better than they were.
I still couldn't place her in the hierachy. When it comes to food like the cockerels, she stands back and waits for the other hens to eat or comes and pecks my boot for a treat.

Such a pretty girl 😍, has she always done this? Sorry if that's a silly question but I'm still learning about everyone's birds.

She has. She doesn't lay eggs and thinks she's a rooster.
I think she's lovely; not quite so much because of her looks but because of how she is. She doesn't have any of the hens stand offish attitude and is less wary of me than the roosters. I'm often tempted to pick her up, but I don't.

Thank you for sharing about Lock , I do believe I read at some point some of this information. Those hens can be downright vicious, especially when eggs are involved. At least you don't have to worry about eggs and getting pecked.
