It's pretty wet here. I was pleased to see most of them have found their way back into the coop & are keeping dry there.

There's hope for them yet...maybe they will start going in to roost on their own now.

Soon I hope... I have an issue with the little coop but need a break in the weather to try & deal with it. It seems to be leaking somewhere. I got home @ midnight to find the corner the girls like to sleep in really damp. Everyone seems fine this morning but it can't be left like that.

When it rains it pours, (sorry, I couldn't resist)! It seems like there is always something that needs to be done. I hope you get some good weather soon, so that you can deal with it! Can you put a tarp over the top until you can fix it?

I'm hoping... A tarp I have. Finding some way to hold it down will be the issue. It probably isn't totally fixable. I think it's a design fault.

I know what you mean, tarps are a little fly away, if you can't secure them properly! I hope there is something you can do with it! I wish I lived closer...I have some metal roofing that we could make look nice and keep the rain off! I know, I should just come visit and bring it to you...

It has been a cool foggy day today. I went with Rich to deliver a load of firewood and as we were coming down the mountain the clouds started to break. I was able to snap this photo.

I think I'm going to have to get this printed out for the house.

An hour later this was the sunset.
