Ribh's D'Coopage

There are no fewer than 6 litter boxes in acceptable locations and they have been using them for years. And one day they just form a liking for the front door. I wondered if they got scared of something in the basement (mouse?) but there is still the utility room and an upstairs bedroom they used to use (and still do a bit). It is all very puzzling.
If you have a litter box by the front door, I would completely remove it or they will continue to use it! Cat's know what they like and where they like to do it...lol ;)

I am down one broody. Wrold is broken.
Hepzibah is pathetic.
She stands @ the coop door bokking away & huddles against the wire as close to her flock mates as possible but every chance she gets she heads straight for a nesting box!

She's not the aggressive broody Wrold is so rather than chance losing her @ roosting time I popped her in the small coop with the Littlies. Hepzibah stood @ the end closest to her tribe bokking mournfully; the Littlies huddled @ the other end. There were no issues @ all so I left them too it.

When I heard the Littlies peeping their roosting calls I went out to check on things.
Hepzibah had already gone to roost & the Littlies were lined up along their ladder behind Regan all ready to proceed in an orderly fashion to bed. I had my fingers crossed. There is always the chance you'll get lucky & Hepzibah already had her place on the roost.
Perish the thought. As soon as Regan stepped into the coop Hepzibah went her. 🙄
The Littlies fled. *sigh*

I opened the side door & nabbed Hepzibah & we sat & watched the Littlies troop happily up the ladder & to bed but when Hepzibah tried the same thing she found the pop door was down. She knew that was the opening. She could see the gap I had left for ventilation but get in she could not.
.
She should be over it but like most of my broodies she is stubborn & persistent

I hope she breaks soon, silly girl!!! :(

It is all odd. They were settled with their other boxes for years. Then they started peeing on the mat just inside the front door. And in spite of removing the mat and cleaning with enzymes to remove the scent they keep going there. So I was forced to put a litter box there. I love them but they are maddening animals!
I should have read ahead...

Edit to add...try to put something down in that area you know they wouldn't like the smell of...maybe a little pepper...it will make them sneeze, but not hurt them or maybe something with a strong citrus smell!

I never learnt most of my times tables. We used to joked I had 5 kids because it was 1 of 3 times tables I knew [the others were 10X & 11X :lau]. Rote learning. So not my thing. :( I had a lot of good teachers but they weren't able to break the math code for me. Most math is still a complete mystery to me.
It's the same for me...I struggle with most math!

Get this, she’s my teacher again this year
As a parent that would not be the case with any of my children. I removed my son from a class and filed a complaint...it was taken care of! I've had some really bad teachers myself growing up, so I also know what it's like...not good.

Very odd.

I move the one litter box a little each day to accustom Blossom to a new location. Just recently we migrated her litter from the small bedroom to the sleepout.

Yeah but unfortunately she is the only teacher on the level of maths I’m on, to go down a class it would be to easy for me and up a class would be to hard and they already moved me because I was being bullied by a girl in the class I was originally supposed to be in

That makes it so hard! I'm sorry that you are in that situation! Do other students have problems with her also...something really should be said...people like that should not be teaching, sounds like they need to start searching for a replacement! No child should have to be in a hostile environment!
