That's awesome! I love your roosting bars. I would have liked to set mine up like that! You sure you didn't want to have your little feather duster sleep on your chest...she would have been very happy!

I'm rather sorry I went with this design now. I still like it aesthetically but when 20+ birds are vying for a spot on the top it gets more than a little crazy! I want the man to change them so it's in a U with everyone @ the same height but I just know there would be an outcry from all my older girls who love the top bar!

Someone has started laying. I found this tiny soft fairy egg under the roosts this morning. I suspect Titania. Her comb & wattles have been rosy for a while though she has shown no interest in the nesting boxes.

My roosts are all at the same level, it really is nice & they are low, so less chance of injury. The only thing I don't like about it is not being able to get such fun pictures of everyone like you share!

They love their run! I loved hearing the littles peeping in the background! Looks like everything is drying out nicely!

No~one seems upset to find another lot of babies in the little coop. They congregate & chat there so when integration time comes I am hopeful for another peaceful outcome.

After the 1st night this one is going swimmingly too. I am truly blessed.

It was about the size of a lychee, so yes, very tiny.

Unfortunately even my tiny frizzles like being that high & they are most in danger of being pushed off. My big Wyandottes don't. They prefer a lower roost.
