People round here keep goats & ~ no. Just no. They eat everything & terrorise everyone. I'd have a cow if we had room but no goats.

Be careful this is actually a thing... fairly close to us on Vancouver Island we have this place called Coombs...

Best of luck with the hyacinth and bluebells @Ribh... that’s a strange thing for me to say because we had them like weeds at my old house...

All my favourite things won't grow in this climate.I'd love bluebells spreading like weeds...

You're right about the mess they make. I want them to eat the grass that's coming up in the garden beds but they prefer digging through the mulch of course!

A trick I used to get my girls to mow down the weeds out front was to scatter a little cracked corn where I wanted them to forage. Worked like a charm.

She's so pretty. I love the copper colour and pattern.

They are really pretty birds. Even my hubby comments on their beauty but good they are not.

Sorry I didn't get out here earlier, but work was a beast yesterday.

Figured you were fighting the good fight.
