I just noticed the *white* Australorp! I've never seen a white one before, I didn't know it was possible!

It is pretty stunning with those black soulful eyes and brilliant white plumage. I need to see more. Up next, Google.

So I’m going to post this on Ribh’s thread (I hope she doesn’t mind! ), simply because @Aussie-Chookmum has some catching up to do on @BY Bob ‘s thread.

So I took my son to the Hawkesbury Show today, and the weather was just perfect! He went on his very first roller-coaster and had a pretty good time. We also saw lots of chooks, cats and a sheep being shorn. I’ll post some pics as I saw Vorwerks, a prize-winning Australorp and a hen that looked she had Barnevelder in her. There were even Frizzled Polishes!

I would love to make my coop larger, what a great space to hang out on a rainy day! Love this RC!

I believe I might rehome some of these ladies when they are a bit older. I don't have room for 10 more hens here, I just didn't want them to sit at TSC.

Awww thank you! Yes, it isn't called the Chicken Palace for nothing - it is an absurd amount of space for them, but it gives me pleasure and they seem OK with it too.
Also, it does mean I don't need to fret if they are stuck inside for a day as there is lots of space.
