For some reason the name "Aquilla" popped into my head. Perhaps because she looks proud and confident. Like an eagle.

I love gardening plans! As well as watching them grow.

We planted 2 little tree seedlings around 28 years ago to replace a gum tree we had to have removed. The seedlings turned out to be Blue Gums.

They've grown a bit over the years.

They are really beautiful, and they smell good too!

I planted an Angophora costata ( I love the smooth, salmon coloured bark) around the same time. It doesn't look nearly as mature. But then, they don't get as big as Blue Gums.

Tack. She no longer waits till last to go into the coop at night. She's got her own perch space now and the rest have been a lot kinder to her. Being the youngest can be a hard life when you're a chicken.
