Congrats! What do you do with the bantam eggs? Those egg cups will be a little big.

I was thinking hard boiled.

What about a teeny tiny omelette for when you are feeling just a bit peckish?

My naughty Campines have managed to convince even my newest layer that the nesting boxes are anathema & plastic is better!

She certainly makes enough racket for a much bigger hen when she is done!​

However I now have 4 bantam eggs in 2 days ~ 3 today. I suspect Titania of laying in odd places but one of the eggs is a little darker & a different shape so I suspect I now have 2 bantam layers. Olivia is prime suspect as the Japs are supposed to lay a white/cream coloured egg ~ though I have heard brown too, so who knows. Certainly in that group all the bantams are reddening up. The Wyandottes aren't even close.
