The thing about boxes and cats - he wanted to get the string by going through the box. Maybe the thinking is he's ambushing the unsuspecting string from a cave? Certainly no one would suspect such a giant attacking from such a small opening!He's lovely!

I can tolerate her hopping on my shoulder, mucky feet & all. After all, I'm going inside for a shower once I've locked up.
I don't mind if she wants to try grooming me. If she finds anything live in my hair, good luck to her!
But there are limits. Investigating my ear lug is not on. It's just not.
She really, really wanted to roost with me last night. When I went to gently put her back with Ceres & Co she dug in & hunkered down.
She is such a sweetie.

Desdemona would love to have that roost but lacks the confidence to make a grab for it but she paces the roost eyeing me off. So does Titania but she is below Olivia in the pecking order. I always make sure to acknowledge them & give them some attention but I think it is only a matter of time until Desi makes a try.

I just read a research article about cats and bags, boxes etc. it was hilarious - first they proved what every cat owner knows, that cats love to get into boxes and bags
But they went further and showed cats love to be inside squares even if they are just chalk marks on the ground and even if the square is incomplete.
So if you mark just the four corners in chalk and leave the sides open - the cats come and sit in the middle just like they get in boxes and bags.

How I do love medicating chooks. Not as bad as cats though.
