Ribh's D'Coopage

It's fine here today but rather cold, only 16C with a nippy little wind.

Yes, I think it makes them look somewhat unbalanced ~ @ least when they were younger.
16c here too. I thought I might block up another sparrow highway and add a cord to the pop door :) maybe a pulley too.

Well, whatever you do folks, don't have a hospital emergency during Covid. The man took a tumble in the wet yesterday & opened up old spinal fractures & the ambos took him off the island about lunch time. About 4pm I tried ringing the hospital. No record of him so I tried the 2 big city ones. Nope. About 7pm he was admitted into emergency but it was another several hours before he's been scanned, exrayed, medicated & put into a short stay bed. He said the ambos were waiting 12 deep because covid restrictions meant they had to wait till someone left before anyone else could be admitted ~ roughly 1 every hour or so. Insanity. One of my lads picked him up this morning & put him on a boat home, tired & sore but relatively unscathed.

Oh goodness!! I hope he recovers quickly. What a terrible headache to deal with on top of an already emergency situation.

Yep. He's not the most patient of men either...well, I don't know too many patient men. They're a rare breed I think. Just grateful he doesn't seem to have done any real damage this time.

Goodness! I'm glad he hasn't done too much damage.
Sending "Get well soon" wishes his way.

Sounds like he might've been quite badly hurt and, waiting aside, maybe he got off lucky?
