draining Ribh. You may not want to keep bathing her once it has emptied.

Thanks, ACM. I haven't been able to check again but I think it is still draining. Some of what I thought was runny poo I now think is pus. She's leery of me after yesterday & while warmish it is pretty wet this morning.

Why was Shuri getting such a hard time for going broody? I mean 1/2 my flock is spending their summer sitting on imaginary eggs.

I think I have worked out @ least what some of the problem is. The dopey girl is absolutely clueless.

The bantams are right on the ball ~ all of them, 1st time broodies & repeat offenders.
They've got those eggs tucked right in under them & when I go to retrieve them the eggs are warm to down right hot! Not Shuri.
She is fluffed up & sitting like a gargoyle but any eggs she gets she forgets to cover & they are always stone cold when I nab them. Gotta wonder what it is she thinks she's doing.

We are getting showers constantly coming over. Aoife has decided the BBQ firewood place is the driest spot around.

I was listening to the girls complain about the weather the whole time I was trying to sort out my UNE enrolment. What an absolute nightmare! Even the lovely young man helping me sort the mess was having trouble. Half the courses aren't offered this year but probably will be next.

Having struggled to find courses in my major to enrol in for the 1st semester we then had issues as to their relative value because there are 2 ways we could do it!

I am seriously considering either changing my major or doing a double as it looks like this will take 2 years rather than the one I initially envisioned. I don't care but I do wish the whole process was easier.

I'm sorry the University is not cooperating.

Actually the uni's been brilliant. They have a whole team to deal with idiots like me who are having trouble. It took an hour to sort & he was so patient & he did more than I asked as he made sure I had my uni email operational [I thought I did but I didn't ] & access to *moodle* which is how I access all my course material. Being one of the more obscure courses it's not as straightforward as more popular ones. I've been really impressed with their public relations. They really try to be helpful to newbies. And it's done now. And I only have 2 units to start with ~ & just as well as they look like being some of t he more difficult courses I will have to deal with.
