It's just gone 7am in Queensland. I am late up because my son is a pro crabber & I try not to disturb him the mornings the tides are late. The chooks have had to wait too.

Whereas I had a lie in until the chooks called me out at 8! So thoughtful.

Wet may not be the girls favourite but @ least it's cooler.

And keeps the fires down!!!

My girls wait until I'm good and ready to go out. I fill their feeder and water at night so they don't really need me. But they sure do like their morning kitchen scraps and BOSS!.

You may have seen on @BY Bob’s FBA thread that I have been quite sick this week and have been more-or-less in bed since Monday.
This little fella has been with me all the time. He is a lovely little heat pad with soothing purrs thrown in.
I like to think he knew I was unwell and was keeping watch over me. I know in reality he just really likes a heated bed with free ear scratches thrown in.
It’s OK. I love him anyway.
I included the blurry picture ‘cos that’s what I see before I put my glasses on!


I am feeling a bit better so am hoping to try getting up and about today.

I'm so very glad to hear that you are feeling well enough to try and get up and about today. What a lovely companion to have. I'm a little worried that if I am ever that week this one might try and eat me.

It is always a risk with cats (and frankly chickens!) which is why I prioritized feeding the cats as my only daily activity.

We had our living room window replaced this week with a bay window.

The cats are slowly figuring out how great this is.
