Okay, so update on eggs! I have four new layers

I'm not seeing any colors from those new layers. Are they your EEs?

Evening folks

I'm not sure what's going on with the weather here, but my girls are largely on strike and feathers everywhere. We would see more than 20 eggs per day when they were in full lay, now we're down to 2-4 eggs per day. They've never stopped this early before, I fear it's suggesting we're in for a bad winter.

I’m wondering the same rj... the leaves on the trees seem to be falling already... certainly doesn’t “feel” like fall but it “looks” it! So weird.. I was actually cool sitting out the other evening and that just doesn’t happen!!! In AUGUST!!...... it sure is hot today though!

Noooo, EEs are only 13 weeks now.. I still have 2 Cochins to start before them.. and don’t worry.. you will be the first I report to when the flowers start.. ..... don’t be brown .. don’t be brown ........

It's at least 10* cooler today than yesterday, with lower humidity, but oh boy it feels way hotter. I have no idea what's going on.

Evening I've just had a plate of Lancashire hot pot for my dinner - it was delicious.

From 20 to 2 eggs is pretty sad. Our winter's been pretty mild this year & we're nearly done. Only another few weeks now...

I love them too. Another one coming up shortly. The clouds & sunrise are just amazing in winter. Best part of it. In summer it doesn't happen. No clouds & everything just looks washed out.
