Me neither! I struggle with the few threads I follow now.

I follow six threads, and then I have my own, which I neglect badly. I can never keep up anyway, I am always so many pages behind. Especially on Bob’s, lol.

And herein lies the dilemma. I keep missing yours & can't keep up with Bob's. Plus none of us wish to be inhospitable...

The people not on the “exclusive list” would miss out on a lot of good chicken news, and a lot of informative posts.

You're right of course. And one reason nothing has been done to date ~ though honestly I am missing a lot of the good stuff because I don't have time to wade through all the social chit~chat. Even skim reading takes more time than I presently have & I feel rude ignoring so many posts but it's just not feasible to keep up.

I must say it doesn't feel great to me to have the 'you are not in my gang' vibe going. And we are all kind hearted so we will be saying oh please invite xxx or yyy and then before you know it we will be back to the same only half duplicated.
It is a tough one for sure.

You're right ~ which is why we are still going round in circles on this one. I don't know what the answer is. Shad's thread is galloping away too & that is one thread I do try to stay up to date on because it is mostly so informative,

I have the same problem, I've had to pick and choose which threads to stay and most of mine are slow moving. When I find myself in a fast moving thread, I'll generally apologize and unwatch. I work full time and try be sure to greet every new person and tell all the birthday folks happy birthday. But BYC can get overwhelming.

I’ve noticed that you always post “happy birthday” on everyone’s profile pages everyday, regardless of wether or not they are active, and I thought I would mention that I really appreciate that!

One thing I do on some of the threads I watch is only look if there has been a post by someone whose posts I am generally interested in reading. Have you tried that?

Yes, but I am in Australia & most posters are in the northern hemisphere. Most of the threads get away on me overnight.
