Ribh's D'Coopage

This whole tea convo reminded me to buy some more loose leaf tea, so I sprung for the Amsterdam Breakfast from the tea shop :D

Earl Grey is nice and smokey. English Breakfast is my favourite because it's quite full-flavoured, but generally speaking I enjoy any breakfast tea. For many years Orange Pekoe was my favourite - it's called orange because of its colour, it doesn't have oranges or orange flavouring in it.

I recently shared a link to the Monista tea shop with ACM, but maybe some of you will like it too. https://monistatea.com.au/ I was given a canister of their EB for Christmas and it's been wonderful!
I am also enjoying English breakfast tea as well. I will check the link for sure. Thank you. 👍👍

Green tea does contain caffeine! Less than coffee or black tea usually, but definitely still caffeine. I like most teas, both true tea and herbals, but if you are drinking it for sleep it might help to think of it as medicine.
A note about chamomile, if you can buy actual loose leaf chamomile (most herbs really) it can be a very different experience. Freshly dried chamomile has a smell a little like bee pollen and sunshine. The only bagged one I like is Celestial Seasonings Sleepy time tea, preferably brewed with 2 bags for best effect.

I am getting all sorts of tea learning today!

I once shared a house with someone who swore by Celestial Seasonings.

I've been drinking a lot of Earl Grey but I'm still using bagged tea. I need to get a better set up and get educated if I'm going to be a tea man now. Mrs BY Bob won't let me use her favorite tea pots!
Yes, loose leaf tea is superior imho. I have a teapot both at home and at work. I just microwave the second cup to get it hot again and I have milk in mine. My MIL tipped out the second cup out of my pot when she was ‘helpfully’ tidying up a couple of weeks ago, and when I complained, she asked if I drank it cold?! 🙄 No, that’s what microwaves are for!

Microwave tea? Perish the thought!
The second cup is what a tea cozy is for, and a top up of boiling water.
