Wow! I sense you are getting bolder in your sketches. Do you feel that too?

'Bolder' as in a little more risqué? Hmm, possibly. I feel like my technique is improving but I still would really like to go to some still-life classes and try some perspective free-hand.Wow! I sense you are getting bolder in your sketches. Do you feel that too?
No, not more risque, more complex - trying things with shadow and position.'Bolder' as in a little more risqué? Hmm, possibly. I feel like my technique is improving but I still would really like to go to some still-life classes and try some perspective free-hand.
I really love doing ones with deep shadow, like this one. I really enjoyed the 'Danu' one as well, although the dark background was a pain as I couldn't get it even. Nina's photo had a dark background as well but I decided to keep it white and I think it makes her stand out even more. What I really get out of it is watching a 3D picture emerge from just different shades and gradients, and blending it together. No, not more risque, more complex - trying things with shadow and position.
Some classes sound like a great and fun idea.
Thanks Bob!
Amazing!
Thanks Bob!Amazing!Such talent!
This is lovely! It almost looks like a 3D bronze statue. The hair is wonderfully textured & the body looks oiled. I'm very impressed... [& very jealous!
That's amazing. I'm with RC, I think it's texturally bolder.
