So sorry LozSo the vet just called. Mishka has kidney disease, which can be managed by diet, but that’s not what’s causing the seizures. She thinks she’s either got cancers which are throwing out clots, or she has something pressing on her brain. We wouldn’t be able to find out without some sort of MRI or scan, which is about 5K. So we don’t know how much time we have left with her, but it probably isn’t very long.![]()

Coldest MONTHS? You are in the equivalent of the end of our January. The first 2 weeks of February are cold then it warms up (relatively speaking of course).Our coldest months are still to come.
August into September sees the wind swing round to the west & for some reason that is colder than southern winds straight off the Antarctic. Technically September is spring but some years it is just wet & freezing. This year is shaping up to be one of those years. Nature doesn't pay heed to our man made calendars!Coldest MONTHS? Thanks Ribh.I'm so sorry, Lozz. I have both my cats on a urinary diet, which has helped the one with issues, but your problems are bigger than that. Enjoy what time you have left with Mishka.
