Ribh's D'Coopage

Poor Bob. :hugs Have an adult beverage & relax.
Hmmmm I'm having a double and then I've got 410 Kg of feed to move to the barn and then feed the kids. I had to feed the girls hog feed yesterday because I had too much rain to uncover the feed. It's ok, hog and chicken feed are pretty much interchangeable.

As for work... Well the boss wants to automate things, but has no clue what automation is. I've been automating things and eliminating human error since the early 80's. I wrote my first PC to mainframe integration in 1984. Some things make total sense to automate while others translate to poor customer service. She seems focused on the latter rather than the former, but then again she simply does not understand any of it. She's a CPA not an IT person. I did get a D in accounting after all... But that was because I was young and dumb and answered the "extra credit" question wrong. Who knew that extra credit could also mean less credit... The question was: Define accounting to the business. My answer: legal fraud, waste and abuse and the justification for way more labor than necessary. Yup that answer lowered my overall grade from a B to a D. Good news was my aviation degree didn't require accounting. :D

I didn't realise you were a pilot, Bob! :) So was my dad. And both my brothers. My YB joined the Navy so he could fly [the air force wouldn't have him] When they took him up for aerobatics he made the instructor sick!!! :lau:lau:lau They grounded him because he hated doing the paper exams & he walked.:gigHe worked in low level aviation doing crop dusting.

Nope, I'm not a pilot. Got lots of hours behind the stick, but never EVER landed one. The pilot wouldn't let me (you wouldn't either if you saw my landings in the sim). My degree is in Aviation Maintenance, specifically in the electronics aka avionics systems. If you want to put a really funny image in your head, imagine me and my big butt crawling into the intake of an F-16 to inspect the motor. There was a LOT more room in an F-4 and well, the A-10 was just a cake walk.

Well, without you guys the men in my family couldn't fly. :D

Just a thought that we all look upon the same sky and tonight the sky somehow reminds me of our responsibility for each other and how it's constant and binding. Togetherness matters more in times of strife.

Good evening folks :frow

The situation in Chile has worsened again. If anyone is interested or would like to pray for the ministry team PM me your email details & I will forward her latest newsletter. She & her team are safe but the situation is causing difficulties. There is almost nothing on our news but the country is in crisis & now there are humanitarian violations. I spent most of the morning listening to her let off steam so have been a little more absent than usual on BYC.
Jeannie, your daughter, her team and you are in our prayers :hugs
