Ribh's D'Coopage

Good evening everyone:frow

Jeannie, we will continue to keep your daughter and everyone in our thoughts and prayers.
Thank you Sue. They are safe @ present & we have peace but the situation around them is deteriorating again.

We will light a candle for her and keep her and everyone in our prayers. When does she leave for the conference? You did say that right?

I'm not sure of her exact travel details but it's mid November ~ only another few weeks. Thank you for the prayers.:hugs

After Tuppence's early escape yesterday morning [& subsequent cuddle] the girls were good. They wandered between the pen & the run sun bathing, dustbathing, foraging & gorging themselves. In fact they were so good I confidently left them out when we ran up to the shop.

I swear, those girls know when I'm not home! I got back to find more chooks out than in! All of them, except Lottie, in the garden creating a major mess. Suyin came running towards me as soon as she saw me & squatted for me to pick her up. That chook is daft! Hepzibah also promptly squatted. Ha'penny did her usual, OK, I'm going thing & went over the fence of her own accord while Tuppence waited for me to catch her so she could enjoy a little scratch. I decided I was too tired to be running after them & they could eat early & spend an extra half hour in the pen ~ & nearly stepped on Lottie, who had not been with the big girls but was out just the same & wandered over when she saw everyone else was being sent home. She just waits to be scooped up & gently put down. Such a funny little thing. I can hear them calling this morning but after yesterday's shenanigans they can just wait till I'm actually awake & dressed!
