Ribh's D'Coopage

I just LOVE those adorable kitties on your counter top!

Plus mangoes are my favorite fruit, but they are not the same here. I would l would love to have fresh local mangoes.
My salt & pepper shakers? They came all the way from Canada. I bought them of Etsy & was worried they wouldn't arrive in one piece~ but they did! :) I don't eat mangoes. I don't like most tropical fruits & pay a fortune for stone fruits or berries. My fav is raspberries ~ & they just will not grow up here!

I'm had a bit of a rough time. The procedure itself went well with no issues. However I developed the dreaded spinal headache. I'm currently on day 5 of laying completely flat. I'm drinking lots of fluid and caffeine per the doctor in order to replenish my spinal fluid.

I'm so thankful for Rich as he has waited on me hand and foot. I'm not an easy patient, I just want to get up and do things myself but I can not at the moment.

Sitting up feels like my head is being squeezed so hard my eyeballs are going to pop out. I'm used to headaches, I've suffered from migraines for over 20 years, but this is a completely different pain.

My furry nurse, Scooby, is also on the job. He's holding me down right now! :gigView attachment 1996564
Ooooooh. Nasty. I know migraines. I can't imagine something worse than that.

When we were 1st homeschooling we were with the Distance program. They'd hold special days for things like art or science or meet the supervisors which meant travelling into town. The first time we did a trip YD was maybe 5 or 6 & I got a really bad migraine; the works: nausea, auras, flashing lights, funny smells, seeing things that weren't there... We had 3 bus changes & a boat & my poor kid was terrified I was going to get on a bus & just keep travelling. Even as a littlie she was pretty smart & knew where we had to get on & off so was making sure I didn't miss any changes & I was desperately trying to hold it together long enough to get us back to the island. I wasn't ok but managing till we got on the boat. Perfumes are a trigger for me & in the close confines of the boat with too many bodies squashed together I was violently ill. Made it to the door. :) But some creep quipped about some people being really bad sailors! I'd've liked to give him my migraine! So you have all the virtual sympathy I can muster. Glad Scooby is doing such a great job! And super glad your procedure went well even if the aftermath isn't so pleasant.

Fresh pineapple is my favourite. Having always had it from a tin, I had no idea pineapple tasted so good. I was stunned by how sweet and juicy it was.

That sounds awful. Have the doctors said anything about how long the mugraine will last?

I am posting this sunrise here because this is the sunrise/sunset thread. I almost posted it on mine. Yikes!

We're are expecting out first reasonable snow today. Perhaps up to 3 inches. So I let the girls out early for some free range as they will likely go back in on their own once it starts.

Such a beautiful sky! May I use this photo as my computer wallpaper for a while?
