Chooks can't see well in the dark so why is half my flock facing so they can stare out the air vent when they roost? And yes, it was dark when I did tonight's check on them.

I bought my Olive Egger from my local produce store MaryJanet.
I asked them to keep an Olive Egger and an Araucana for me next time they were getting chicks.

and Alice (Araucana), 7 weeks old.
She has a very obvious tail now, but as long as she lays blue eggs I'm not too fussed about her breeding

Evening, Bob. :frow About to shut down for the night so I can do a 4am runner again.:gigNah, it's raining & getting coolish & the cat keeps wanting to sit on top of me so I may as well take him to bed where he can snuggle as he likes. Not spoilt , much.:rolleyes:
