Ribh's D'Coopage

Finally caught up!! They are lovely and I’m so happy for you!! And of course what beautiful names:love
Thank you. I wanted them all to match up & I'm a bit of a Celtic nutter so this seemed the easiest way to do it. I can then do Welsh, Cornish, Breton... :lau

I still don't think I'm due any credit - imejust lucky to have such a large chicken yard and the ratio of old hens to young pulkets worked out well.

Other than these two things, all I did was watch and try to provide, and you're already good at doing that Ribh.
That is very kind of you, MJ. :hugs
The posts still seem to be jumping around on me but maybe that is just due to the sheer volume @ present....?

Congratulations. That they arrived on Valentine's Day has been amusing me all day & you are the 1st to comment. The man has gone from being totally anti~chicken to declaring his favourites. That's ok because they're mine too. :D One can never have too many Campines! :lau

I don’t acknowledge Valentine’s Day; to me it’s a bunch of commercial nonsense and anyway, I don’t have a romantic bone in my body. That said, if someone gifted me seven chickens on 14th February, I wouldn’t say no. :D

I'm the same ~ which is why I was so terribly amused.

Now the Gaelic speakers can all be cross @ me & everyone else can ask how to pronounce them! :gig

If you’d called them céilidh and pìobaireachd, I know how to pronounce those. :D I went to uni with a girl called Meadhbh, which was pronounced Maeve and my sister’s dog’s name is Aiofe, which we pronounce as “Eefer”. So it sounds like you are pretty close to the mark.

Yes! :yesss: Someone else I don’t have to explain to why I don’t like being given flowers, heart-shaped chocolates and cutesy crap. However, if that’s other people’s thing, that’s all good too.:thumbsup

I like being given those things... All year round :love

The trouble with heart-shaped chocolate is that they always have soft centers - strawberry cream or whatever. I am a complete chocoholic but cannot stand soft centers so Valentine's day is the one day when I avoid chocolate!

That’s the argument I hear against Valentine’s Day; it should be all year round, not just one day! :D

If my hubby wants to show me how much he loves me, he can vacuum the whole house and scrub the toilets. :lau
