Ribh's D'Coopage

So glad the integration seems to be going on! I’m sure morning will bring some new challenges, but hopefully it sorts out quickly. Congrats @Ribh phase 1 is a success!
Yes. It is always interesting when dealing with Campines. They are so much more feral & chicken differently to everyone else. For all the screaming they did last night their heart rate wasn't up so they were actually pretty calm about the whole thing, just being drama queens. It was actually little Alpia [the lighter Wyandotte] who was most upset & I got her settled as quickly as possible. She buddied up with Wrold on the roost & all was good when I left them to it.

And we are off! good start.
Thanks, Bob. You have much more sedate birds so I'm sure your integration will be very calm whereas I can pretty much guarantee the Campines will do nothing they should. Until they calm down somewhat around me it will be fun & games.

It was amazing. @drumstick diva I saw some of cars used in Ford vs Ferrari too along with one of the original Alfa Romeo open wheel. race cars. And I mean original! Fangio drove it.
I'm impressed. I have no idea what you're talking about!

Maybe Lottie and ha’penny will convince them you’re ok for you? “Even though it’s not our nature... that big odd Rooster isn’t that bad! She makes sure the Littles gets the feed, really. And she doesn’t do the annoying rooster stuff like jumping on us or expecting us to groom her comb.”

Lottie gave me this look like What is this you've brought here? And Ha'penny has been facing of with Morrigu ~ plus they are both very possessive about being *my chickens* & the only ones allowed to eat from my hand @ dinner time.

We went pastel this morning :)

Lots & lots of noise from the coop, not too much pecking.
Everybody did eventually make it downstairs ~ which is an improvement on last time.
The Big girls are hogging all the prime spots but the newbies are happily rootling in the deep litter. Looks like it will be ok.
I will let the big girls out shortly.
