Ribh's D'Coopage

Roosting is still in a state of flux. Last night it was only Wyandottes on the 2nd roost. Everyone else was squiggied on the top bar.

Tonight only the Araucana, Beatha, was allowed on the top.
The Campines & Wyandottes were huddled together.

Lottie, as she sometimes does, chose to roost on the 2nd bar with Mhari.
The pecking can get vicious. Everyone tries to avoid Lavender & Suyin in particular.

Now that second roost bar looks like a tribe of trouble.

After hearing about everyone's integration successes I thought that it was high time that my girls started acting like one flock.

Alice had transferred her sleeping quarters to the small coop with the old girls successfully a few weeks ago and is hanging around with Tsuki more often than with her nest mate Edwina.

For the last few days I have been transferring hens from the small coop to the large coop after roosting time and haven't heard too much commotion.

I have been happily imagining Edwina and Pepper occupying the back roost with Tsuki, Deana and Alice on the front roost.

Well, I went out to check a little while ago and this is their current sleeping arrangement.

Good evening folks :frow

@rjohns39 & @Grammy60 Our news is saying @ least 19 dead. That was a wowzer! How was your day?
We had a relatively good day. They've closed the schools for the rest of the week, so Sue's home.

Unfortunately, the death toll is likely going to continue to rise as they sift through the rubble trying to account for everyone.

At least Tsuki is happy. ;)

Don't assume my integration is going perfectly. Roosting time is tough right now. They have only spent 2 nights together and there has been a lot of pecking. It is not going to go quickly I'm afraid.
