I swear my chickens are nuts. They form a crocodile @ the coop door when I arrive with dinner! The trouble is, I can't then get in to give it to them!

I tried to write that under my message board but apparently I do not know how ... now it is my new status ... and I don’t know how to remove that... I also tried it under “about me” and it didn’t work...

Mainlanding. *sigh* Exhausting. New glasses. Not sure I like them ~ but then I guess I don't have to look @ them. The fashion seems to be for pointy bits...

Bathroom tiles. Chemist ~ because they started employing locals on the island & islanders gossip. Chook feed. People pick~me~up. Then we went back down to the jetty to weed the council garden which was full of milk thistles! Been here too long to be embarrassed. The girls have had a run & are now gorging on milk thistles. On to something for the human animals.

YD rang to say she'd passed a sign offering silkies. She thought I might like some...Enabler! I do not want silkies. Lousy layers with a tendency to go broody. After last summer I am happy to never see a broody hen again. She tried for a bit. I told her if she wanted silkies she needed to get them for her in her own place.... She seems to think I should just accumulate chickens for her...

I already have enough unfriendly chickens. Improved but they don't think much of me.

Hello everyone
I had to lock the chooks in their coop all day yesterday. Biy oh boy, they were unhappy, snappy chooks when I got home from work. But they hadn't been hurt by predators so I'm calling it a draw.
