Ribh's D'Coopage

Yup working. A little frustrated at the moment. I'll be less than an hour from DD and family, and right now it looks like they've scheduled mandatory fun every evening. I may be there for an entire week and not get to see the grand kids.:rant
Bummer. :(

You are all spared the mandatory *View Picture* this morning as we have a complete white out. Can't see down the hill let alone across the bay. The girls are all up & out ~ apart from the 2 already laying. They sit in the nesting boxes with slightly glazed eyes staring out at the view. Makes me wonder what they've been ingesting! :) Pleased to report Namaste is looking the best she's looked in ages this morning. Even her comb & wattle have some colour ~ which has been distinctly lacking for months. I've never had a hen have such a hard molt before. Hoping she'll be fully feathered again before too long & putting on weight again. @ present she is all skin & bone. No wonder she is feeling the cold.

She looks spectacular!

My Tsuki has been inspecting the nesting boxes in my new coop and is looking plump and pretty after her big moult about 6 weeks ago. So here's hoping for a break in the egg drought!
Fingers crossed. I haven't had a post-moult egg from Mary, but I'm looking forward to it!

Can you tag along on a couple of the activities? Seems a shame for the grandkids, I loved seeing my grandies when I was a kid.

Come on Namaste, we want you healthy.

That means we need TWO view photos tomorrow @Ribh :D

It's not very big compared to what Tsuki laid pre-moult but it's a relief to have her laying again. Now if only Deana will start laying so I can stop worrying. She finished her moult well before Tsuki and is looking plump and perky so why no eggs?
Grrrrr :barnie
