Ribh's D'Coopage

That is beautiful :love.... I love pink :D... especially for baby girls!

According to Andrew pink was actually a traditional color for boys in the past, being a pastel form of red, and a very manly color! I think he just says that because all his baby pictures he is in pink :gig Because of his heart condition, he had a blue pallor and his parents dressed him in pink so that he would look more healthy. I, on the other hand, was always a blue girl as a child. Spoiled my kindergarten photo by scowling because I hated my pink frilly dress. I can wear any color but yellow, it makes me look just awful.

I love anything on the blue/green spectrum. Reds & oranges upset my equilibrium ~ unless it's Poinciana flowers in spring. :)

Next time you need a baby blanket...:) I actually did this pattern in woodland greens & browns for a friend on PEI's daughter. It is a lovely pattern to crochet: fast & easy.

Some of mine are like this from time to time as well...
We need to compare... :) I really notice it once they go in the fridge ~ especially if they are still warm when I pop them in. The *bloom* [or whatever it is] really seems to change.

@MaryJanet: For comparison. The white eggs are the Campines. The small eggs in the middle are the Australorp bantam's. The large creamy/brown ones are BRs. The large darkish one is an Australorp & the 2 dark brown ones are Favorelle. All the others are more or less tear~drop shaped but the Favorelle ones are just ~ long.:lau
