A couple of friends are coming to dinner this evening. On Monday my brother's going to help me put a half door on the woodshed to keep the chooks out. I booked a facial for Wednesday. And I'll be snug and read books

Can't be too careful. After I told Bob I'd put Janet in the little coop, I went out and put her back in the big coop for safety. They were all asleep by then so she'd missed her chance to peck Sandy. I think that's what I'll do for a while. Segregate at dusk and put together after dark.

How is Namaste today? The pics on Kris's thread made me think of ingrown hairs. I wonder if there is such a thing as ingrown feathers?

It's been raining on and off down here too for a couple of weeks. Great for the garden but makes a horrid mess of the run. My girls have mixed the straw all through the dirt and since the rain its been very slippery in the run

Sorry. No pics. Never even thought of it as it's one of the rooms that was never finished. We got about 1/2 done & the man broke his back. Twenty years on the boys are doing the work.

Namaste is great. Nugget is acting sick. I do not know what is going on with those girls! Only the Australorps.

Neither of my runs is pretty just now either but the rain is very needed so I will not complain about it.
