Ewwww. That is way worse than not being able to reach a few eggsone of the dogs dug the same lamb up like four times last year. It got a nice big stone carin and a cross thanks to the woofer who had to rebuy it again and again! Never a fun task, especially not the second or more time around
I lost a dozen rescue chickens in a short space of time & a local dog kept digging them up ~ over & over! I was getting quite frantic. The kids weren't coping. And we didn't have garbage collection...
Our ground is too rocky to dig really deep but @ least it wasn't sheep. Pheew!


If they're left a bit dirty the birds realize there's a barrier there.
Apparently. They are not being encouraged.
