Ribh's D'Coopage

Loved all the pics, Jeannie your girls are definitely eye candy and your sunrises are stunning.
Thanks, Bob. :hugs I'm a sucker for pretty but despite their looks all my girls are pretty good layers as well. I can't claim any credit for the looks of either the chickens or the sunrises but I do like to share with others who appreciate beautiful things.

The 3 week old chicks moved to grass yesterday, they were really confused but quickly decided it was okay.

And where are my pictures...? ;)

the moon early morning, trying to capture the glow around it from the fog and the sunrise just a few minutes later.

I love mist. So hard to capture but so very pretty.

As we move towards summer our sunrises become more & more washed out until there's barely any colour @ all.

Black swans, still drifting in sleep.
They migrate here to breed & will be gone again soon.

Morning Jeannie :frow

I'll get you a pic when I freshen up their water and feed them. It's currently 43*C out there, so we're inside canning some dill pickles and zucchini pickles. Got our winter peas planted and garden bed mulched this morning. Still need to pick tomatoes and green beans. Just put another bunch of zucchini in the freezer for winter. Trying to stay busy with mind occupied.

Yeah, those high summer temps are hard. :( Stay cool.

So sorry I've been off the last couple days. Today, I got to say good bye to my uncle, who is much more like my elder brother. He's been fighting stomach cancer for a couple of years and it's finally won. I don't know if I have days, weeks or months left but I'm going to lose him regardless. Knowing this is the inevitable simply doesn't help.
