My beautiful and special Ribh-made rug got a workout over the weekend. It's delightful over the shoulders of an evening, very toasty.

Glad the rug is proving useful. 
I mostly have pairs of chickens & those pairs always seem to have one dominant & one submissive chicken. If you've read here for long you know my Campines are my flightiest chickens ~ & also my *over the fence we go* duo. Ha'Penny will squat as soon as she sees me coming for her but Tuppence likes to have me chase her round the run till I corner her & as she is my most scaredy chicken I always take the opportunity to get her used to being handled without her heart racing in panic mode. We are finally there so as I was softly scolding her for her antics I was running my hand from her comb down her neck while her big dark eyes blinked @ me knowingly. The next thing I know she has shut her eyes & was just resting in my arm while I stroked her! Oh. My. Gosh!!! A special chicken moment that only another chicken lover will understand. My hubby thought I was quite mad!
