Ribh's D'Coopage

It's always a little difficult when you have animals & need to be away ~ even if it's only for a few hours. I fed the girls early ~ like 4 hours early!:lau before heading out to lunch with family. They were all roosting when we got home but happy to know we were back. The cats, who hadn't been fed, were majorly relieved to see us!:gigView attachment 1946662

Hungry cats are so friendly! :gig

You have the kindest eyes and smile! That is a wonderful photo of you and the baby girl. Even though you can't see her, it's quite easy to tell she's very content.
That is a lovely compliment! Thank you so much. And yes, she was beautifully behaved all afternoon but I rather suspect mum & dad had a hard time once they got home. Isn't that the way it usually goes down? :D

Hi everyone :frow

Are you fostering Grammy60?

No, I work for Head Start and we have many people that come through to see how the children are acting/behaving and to see if we have any concerns that we want looked into with the parent's permission of course. We have observations many times a year so this is just one more thing they look at.

After yesterday's confinement the girls are out already & Tuppence has already stood on the small coop roof to survey her kingdom & consider her breakout. It is only a matter of time. *sigh* The funny thing is they never venture far from the flock. They hang with them just on the other side of the wire where the litter has seeped through.

I had a chat with the man about my next buy ~ because planning & sharing is 1/2 the joy, n'est ~ce pas? He wants me to wait. No surprises there. He looked quite terrified @ the thought of being left in charge of un~integrated Campines! :lau The good news is he's a fan of the Campines ~ which is funny because they really are quite naughty, though with looks like that you can get away with quite a lot. I am going to try for a tiny friend for Lottie as well ~ though chicken~like she will probably be less than impressed, @ least to start with.

And I've just had to deal with Tuppence. It's getting funny. I'm starting to think she does it for the cuddle because as soon as I picked her up she shut her eyes & got heavy, totally prepared to be loved on!:gigShe was in no hurry to be put down either.
