Ribh's D'Coopage

I was watching your video while waiting for the hens to go to bed and Janet was listening! She said a couple of quiet boks to your chooks :)
That is so cool! I wonder what she said to them?
Good night,
Sleep tight.
Don't let the bed~bugs bite?
:lau

Your chooks look remarkably calm Ribh, and no fighting over food!

They all look lovely and healthy too. Is that the sea grass in the run? It makes nice looking mulch :thumbsup.
That's the coop run & I deep litter it: so it's the sugar cane mulch from cleaning out the coop, leaf litter, she oak needles ~ & anything else I happen to think of. It makes great mulch! :) The sea grass went in the open run.
You can actually see the pecking order @ work in regards to food. Lottie gets preferential treatment ~ but she usually only gets one shot before the rest of the flock shuts her down. :) The Campines are right @ the bottom & as they are also skittish they didn't eat until everyone else had had something. I try to make sure everyone has a little something special when I dole out treats. :)

@Grammy60 the IPhone 8plus it’s pretty user friendly... and the camera is quite decent. That’s what I have (I like the big screen for reading with our e-reader account and looking at all the lovely chook pictures and sunsets ;)!) I have trouble with low light shots and remembering to video in landscape mode, but everything else is pretty intuitive. I like the tapping to set the focus/lighting... very helpful when you’re shooting into tight spaces to show you actually put all the required re-bar in your forms.

You will probably want to disengage the Live Photo thing though. It will automatically turn it on unless you disable that in the settings menu. That took me ages to figure out.
Thank you for sharing your experiences with the phone, I have a lot to learn. :)
