Good morning folks

Shad, now I know why some of your posts are let's just say, not understandable. Guess I need to brush up on chicken typing.
That's beautiful Jeannie. Is it new or refurbished? We got lucky once... Took up the carpet on one of our old houses and found a terribly abused, but beautiful hardwood floor underneath. It took a lot of sanding, vacuuming and moping before it was ready to finish but turned out beautiful. Not as nice as yours though.

This is how it was always meant to be but never got finished so sort of refurbished. I love a beautiful polished floor. Hoping the new finish is really hardy.

I don't have beautiful hardwood floors. I do have some very smart hens though! One laid an egg in my hand about 30 minutes ago, and knew I wanted it, so she pushed it out with her beak, as if to say "Here, I'm done. You can have it now!" So cute I could almost cry!

After 30 plus years of kids our poor living room floor was in desperate need of some TLC. @Shadrach, because you seem to know about timbers it's native Jarrah, a hardwood.

I know. It's shocking really. It just demonstrates one of the many shortfalls in homeschooling.
She really needs to attend a proper school.
