The vet told me he was probably taken from his mother before he was properly weaned so it is a suckling comfort sort of thing.
He is a rescue cat and was in terrible shape when I took him in. So of course I am a big softy and get him fleece blankets because even though he is now a big sleek happy guy, I hate that he misses his mother! My current theory is that he just knows how to make me spoil him.
Yes.. this is what I’ve heard as well... we got Bobby at four weeks old (rescue).... our new one.. Teddy Jo does it too but not near as much.. we got her at five weeks...

My friend had a cat that would suck and nibble on your earlobe whilst kneading the cushion behind you and purring in your ear. It was very cute (and it tickled!)
 
It's a grey old day again here but what I love about chooks is how cheerful they always are. Every new morning is a great day.

Miserable cold rain here today and still the girls were excited to be out and about. They cheerfully stood and knocked at the backdoor begging for snacks.
