It's rare for us to get anything prowling round. But without being here or cameras I'll never know. Most likely suspect: monitor lizard.When they do that here it usually means there has been a visitor. Some mornings they are reluctant to leave the coop. The most usual reason is a hawk has been on the coop roof or a dog has been sniffing around.

There is always something prowling around here at night and the two resident weasels will make a grab during daylight along with the hawks.It's rare for us to get anything prowling round. But without being here or cameras I'll never know. Most likely suspect: monitor lizard.

I'm glad we don't have weasels. I think they are an interesting animal but they have some very unsavory habits!There is always something prowling around here at night and the two resident weasels will make a grab during daylight along with the hawks.
