Ribh's D'Coopage

What @Shadrach says here is dead on true. If Alpia has MG, they all do. By the time the symptoms manifest to where you realize it, they all have it. You are not stopping the spread by isolating her, it has already happened. If by some bizarre circumstances they don't all already have it, they will when you reintroduce her. I think he is correct about the isolation.

I'm sorry I did not consider that sooner.
Quite right, Bob. I find it hard to know what to do for the best but I do trust Shad's advice. For one thing he has way more experience! I did put her back with the flock last night. She & Wrold had a day where they didn't have to compete for food or water & had each other for company & they both nabbed a top spot last night, so no issues that way. :hugs

Unfortunately I rarely anticipate the worst & have ended up with very sick chooks because of it. :( This time I thought I'd be a little more proactive. 🙄 I can't seem to call it right. No doubt something that comes with experience ~ & I don't have a lot of that.
I can't call these things either. Remember when Janet stayed overnight at the vet's and there was *nothing* wrong with her? I felt silly but on the whole, I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I'm feeling quite defeated this morning.
I've been looking for some nice table runners ~ because we sit things like plants on our tables & runners give the wood a little protection.

I finally found one I really like & it was a you tube video so...
The instructor has quite a thick accent & goes really fast but it's you tube so I was stopping & starting & being really careful with my counting because it's lace & it's all about counting.
Most tutorials give you a stitch count @ the end of every row so it is really easy to check if you are on track or not & where you've gone wrong, if you do.
This lady doesn't.
I got to here last night & I am out by 2 whole repeats!!! 😢
There is no way to fix it without undoing the whole thing. :( And I still won't know where I've gone wrong.

It's not that I mind unpicking & redoing. I do a lot of that. I'm a dork. Until I can *see* the pattern I'm pretty useless. I won't make the same mistake because now I know what the pattern should look like. 🙄 I'm just cross that I could have figured it out a whole lot earlier if the instructor had given a stitch count. *sigh*
Ok. Rant over. You know what I'm doing today.😓
I don't know what any of that means, but I think its lovely! I don't see anything wrong! Lol!

Thanks for asking guys. :) She seems much the same. The bubbles are still there. Perhaps not quite as foamy as they were 1st thing yesterday. I haven't noticed any signs of respiratory distress ~ but then I don't really know what I'm looking for either. All the eyewashes were saline based so I am just using warm water to swab her eye. I gave her some electrolyed water & cracked corn for being a good girl while having things done to her she does not like. She was very vocal about my ministerations. Poor girl. I wouldn't want me for a nurse either. She has an appointment booked for tomorrow. She is back with the flock & roosted on the top bar last night so I take that as a good sign. Really sick chooks can't fight for that top position.
So far so good. Watch for things like shallow rapid breathing, wheezing, etc. It will be obvious that she has an issue. I take it as positive that you are not seeing any of that. I'm glad she gets to see the vet tomorrow,. I hope they are on their game. :hugs
