Ribh's D'Coopage

Unfortunately I rarely anticipate the worst & have ended up with very sick chooks because of it. :( This time I thought I'd be a little more proactive. 🙄 I can't seem to call it right. No doubt something that comes with experience ~ & I don't have a lot of that.
There is nothing wrong with what you are doing here. This is exactly what I would do had I access to a vet. You are taking advice from some smart people. You are getting her to an expert. This is the best anyone can do.

Please try to have confidence in yourself. You are doing fine and she will be OK.

Most of my flock is moulting. Ha'penny looks worst just now with all her wing feathering showing like ribs. :( My beautiful bird is moth eaten & tatty.
Poor baby. Thankfully this will pass with some time. It makes me sad everytime they go through it.

Quite right, Bob. I find it hard to know what to do for the best but I do trust Shad's advice. For one thing he has way more experience! I did put her back with the flock last night. She & Wrold had a day where they didn't have to compete for food or water & had each other for company & they both nabbed a top spot last night, so no issues that way. :hugs
You got this. She will be fine. Trust yourself. It's ok. :hugs

I don't know what any of that means, but I think its lovely! I don't see anything wrong! Lol!
:lau:lau:lau:gig:gig:gigThe sad part about your comment is I couldn't *see* anything wrong with it either ~ but wrong it was because I couldn't work the next part of the pattern from what I had. It took me about 5 goes to work it out. :( I am having a little break from it now & doing something simpler while I watch & rewatch the video so I have some idea of what I am meant to be doing next. :fl

This photo is a rather humble offering in Ribh's thread but this landscape is important to me and I thought you good folks might like to see it. It's the beach near my house.

I like to imagine great-grandfather sailing his ketch along that horizon in the late 1800s, on his way to take groceries to the country towns and bring wheat back to the city.

That is a lovely photo, MJ ~ & a great history memory. My folks did the east coast. Some were the first white men in their part of Queensland. The history has come down to me as I was the only one really interested. :(
